I apologize for the lack of blogging on my part. (I'm sure Tallulah doesn't though. Kidding!)
Since things are slow around here, and I'm at a loss for creativeness, I think some random-itisy is appropriate.
So- in no particular order- here are five things that have potential to be a blog topic if I ever put the effort into it.
1. My favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11, and all the way down through 14 honestly. I love it in every version ever written, but NIV is conveniently my favorite, as it's the version I regularly use.
2. Speaking of which, I'm cool with the ESV too. Not so fond of KJV, but only because thees and thous just are normally processed with my very tired mind.
3. I'm in the process of writing lots and lots of books. I keep a folder with book ideas in it, too. They have plot ideas and quotes I like and characters that I must use someday and even setting I've fallen in love with.
4. Comfort clothes serve a dual purpose in my life. First, comfort. And second, modesty. Mostly comfort, but modesty always helps. Not that I don't dress modest otherwise. But I find comfortable modest.
5. I like to memorize. Bible verses mostly, but sometimes quotes and poems and chunks of literature. My next mission is all of Hebrews 11. Which is a toughy.
And there you have it. If you'd like to be of any fun Tallulah, you can elaborate on any of these five topics. :) PLEASE!!! I NEED HELP!

I'm not going to say I told you so, but... itoldyouso!
You're right T. If we're going to be bloggers, we're bloggers for His glory.
But I don't think it stops at blogging. If I'm going to go to a movie, I'm going to see a God honoring movie. If I'm going to hang out with friends, I'm going to spend time doing God honoring things. If I'm going to get up today, I get up for God. That needs to be our attitude.
My favorite part of the whole article was this:
"Bre, a high school senior from Indiana, experienced low expectations firsthand. She, along with other young people, had participated in some community service projects and afterward gave a report to her church. Following the service she overheard a man saying, 'Aren’t you glad these kids aren’t out smoking pot or drinking?
''That comment just broke my heart,' Bre wrote to us, 'because there truly is a level of mediocrity that has infiltrated not just our culture, but our churches as well.'"
It's not enough for us to not be smoking or drinking! And it's not enough for others to expect us to just not do those things. That's not our goal in life. That should not be our bare minimum. We need to be expected to do hard things, and we need to do them. The general attitude should not be "Well, at least they're not doing sinful things," if we're not doing things for God. It's a cultural change that needs to happen.
Look, me and Tallulah struggle too. We're not always perfect, and we're not always the perfect Philippians 4:8 girls. But we're trying. Please try with us. We have to be the change we want to see.

I have unexpectedly found a blogging blessing.
I now have the opportunity to share with you (the readers, some of whom we hopefully have) what I find. I'm a bargain hunter and a good book hunter and an encouraging Bible verse hunter and makes-me-smile moment hunter. I think it's in my genes.
Today I found and article I really enjoyed reading. You can read it here. So go read, come back in a minute, and let's talk.
I loved that. It applies to me and to you and Teagan and everyone else. It's not enough to stay away from ungodly things, we have to run towards God. I'm guilty of sitting on my lack of bad deeds and calling it good enough. I don't want to be just good enough. I want to be spectacular all out amazingly for God!
If I'm going to be a blogger, I'm going to be a blogger for God's glory. It's not enough for me to sit back and not blog about sinful or unpleasing things. Whatever I do, I do it for Him. And if that means blogging (which I think in this case it does) than I blog for the glory of God.
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. (Philippians 4:8 ESV)

I don't think I'm going to like this.
But for Teagan's sake (not her real name, by the way) I'll pretend to. And if you were wondering, Tallulah isn't my name either. It's my dead gold fish's name, but not mine. Something about keeping our privacy, as if we won't be the only ones to ever know about this. So pseudonyms it is then. You didn't really think our parents were that ridiculously out of their minds did you? Well they are, even if they didn't name us Teagan and Tallulah. I'll confess I might prefer Tallulah as opposed to... oh right, I can't tell you that.
Once again, I don't think I'm going to like this.

Hello to all!
After muchnagging polite pleading, I've convinced Tallulah to start a blog with me. I have huge dreams for it, Tallulah does not. I see Teagan&Tallulah as an intelligent, witty, mostly sarcastically candid look on our worlds. Our worlds, mind you. Tallulah sees it as an inconvenience. But because she's a good friend, she'll write with me. You may disagree, you may not. You may laugh, then again, you may not. We're corny and sometimes don't make sense, but that's us.
You've been warned.
After much
