I have unexpectedly found a blogging blessing.
I now have the opportunity to share with you (the readers, some of whom we hopefully have) what I find. I'm a bargain hunter and a good book hunter and an encouraging Bible verse hunter and makes-me-smile moment hunter. I think it's in my genes.
Today I found and article I really enjoyed reading. You can read it here. So go read, come back in a minute, and let's talk.
I loved that. It applies to me and to you and Teagan and everyone else. It's not enough to stay away from ungodly things, we have to run towards God. I'm guilty of sitting on my lack of bad deeds and calling it good enough. I don't want to be just good enough. I want to be spectacular all out amazingly for God!
If I'm going to be a blogger, I'm going to be a blogger for God's glory. It's not enough for me to sit back and not blog about sinful or unpleasing things. Whatever I do, I do it for Him. And if that means blogging (which I think in this case it does) than I blog for the glory of God.
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. (Philippians 4:8 ESV)
